During Passive Defense Week, a rescue, evacuation, and emergency shelter drill simulating an enemy air raid was held on October 31, 2026, at Shahid Chamran Vocational School.

Organized by Damghan Municipality and the City Council, the event involved the Red Crescent, emergency services, police, fire department, and utility companies. Key officials, including the county governor, city council chairman, and mayor, attended the exercise.
